We could see the bottom shoe prints from people the last time we were there, in the oily stuff they 'shined' the floor with. They shellac their floors with some kind of oily junk/'polish' that actually leaves foot prints in it! No Kidding. I think all the places in Humboldt County are in Denial big time and think if they let in a little of the humid outside air, that that somehow helps! But unless you go dancing at the Eureka moose Lodge or a similar place, there's no windows/doors to open! None of the casinos here know how to properly clean a dance floor either. There is not One ceiling Fan for Relief, and no real A/C. Not that that keeps people from putting chairs right on the dance floor anyway, just like they used to, when it's crowded. The only improvement to the dance floor wasn't in Size but in the fact that's it's designated by different flooring now. A lot of them have to set up speakers/equipment on the dance floor, which is too small to begin with. Their million dollar renovation of the Lounge left the live bands with as small a 'stage' as ever! It's only about a 10 inch step up. and the cigarette smoke factor here is pretty bad.
